Sugiru Juunana no Haru

At night, Takashi is plagued by apparitions of a woman imploring for the safety of her child from being relinquished. Although shadowy figures lurk beyond his window, Takashi endeavors to disregard them. As he draws closer to his seventeenth birthday, the shape of those shadows becomes more defined, and the apparitions more intense. With time, Takashi, who was once gentle and compassionate, becomes apathetic and eventually bitter towards those near him. How is his upcoming seventeenth birthday linked to this sudden change in demeanor?
